The Klamath Basin area has many fun and exciting things to do. Chances are you'll run out of time before you run out of activities. Here's a list that just touches on some of the many area attractions.

Crater Lake National Park

A must see for anyone intending to visit Klamath Falls. Just 60 miles north of Klamath Falls, the park's main attraction is of course the famed Crater Lake, with its vibrant blue colors. Whether you hike the many trails, take a boat tour of the famous blue waters or just enjoy the view, Crater Lake has something for everyone.

Wildlife

The Klamath Basin wetlands provide a great attraction to wildlife so make sure to make time for viewing the 430 plus native species in the Klamath Basin such as pelicans, eagles, hawks, egrets and herons. Seven wildlife refuges and several national forests provide ample opportunities to observe wildlife year round.

Ross Ragland Theater

Finish off your day with southern Oregon's newest performing arts center. The Ross Ragland Theater has year round events for all ages that include music, dance, comedy and drama. From symphonies to Broadway plays, modern dance to national singing artists the RRT isn't your ordinary performing arts center.

The Running Y Ranch Resort

Discover a legend in the making: The Running Y Ranch Resort. History

The Klamath Basin is rich in history so if you're a history buff Klamath Falls is the place for you. The Klamath County Museum focuses on early history and settlement, as well as geology and wildlife. The Favel Museum of Western Art and Artifacts has the works of over 300 western artists and 100,000 Indian artifacts. If antiques are your specialty, Klamath Falls has a treasure trove. There are over a dozen businesses in Klamath Falls specializing in antiques and/or specialties.

Klamath Lake

Klamath Lake is the largest natural lake in Oregon and the center for all sorts of water fun in the summer. Acres of lakeside parks with biking, hiking, and canoeing are an ideal way to spend a summer day.

Golfing

Klamath Falls is the perfect place to practice that swing and enjoy that great Klamath Falls sunshine.
